How does it work?

SMS parking allows you to pay for parking by text message. You do not have to keep track of the expiry time because the mobile parking service will send an SMS reminder.

SMS parking payment terms

This service enables payment for parking in public parking areas in the City of Vodice, where charging is managed by Gradsko poduzece d.o.o. Prices, zones, operating hours and time limits are determined by the City of Vodice, and all parking areas where the service is available are marked with mobile parking signage.

SMS parking payment is available only through Croatian telecommunications operators.

Users of other operators can pay by mobile device using the BMOVE app, at a parking machine or at Tisak kiosks.

Parking payment

The end user pays for parking by sending an SMS message to the mobile parking number of the relevant parking zone.

Payment method

The SMS message must contain the vehicle registration number without spaces, punctuation or Croatian special characters. The end user is solely responsible for incorrectly entered registration numbers.

Payment confirmation

Within two minutes, the user receives a return SMS message with payment details as confirmation. If the operator does not receive confirmation that the return message was delivered within that time, the payment has failed and the user will not be charged.

Each new payment and parking extension through the mobile parking service is valid according to the rules of the zone and paid parking duration.

Parking control

Parking control is carried out by controllers of Gradsko poduzece.

Working hours

Payment through this service is available 24 hours a day, but parking is charged according to operating hours.

Complaints

The user may file a complaint if parking was registered, a confirmation SMS was received within two minutes, and a daily parking ticket was nevertheless issued.
